HICOSAKAの象徴である〈マウンテンハット〉を起点に、素材という新たな視点から再構築したモデル。定番として磨き続けてきたフォルムを崩すことなく、〈ウルトラスエード〉という極上素材を掛け合わせることで、新しい表情を引き出している。

〈ウルトラスエード〉がもたらすのは、しっかりとした張り感、スエード特有の奥行きある色合い、そして手に吸いつくような滑らかさ。その質感は、装いの主役として存在感を放つ一方で、全体を静かに引き締める脇役としても機能する。過剰に語らず、質で伝わる佇まい。

カジュアルな文脈を持つマウンテンハットと、リッチな素材感。一見相反する要素を成立させるために、クラウンの高さ、つばの角度、ボリュームバランスといった細部のパラメーターを見直している。単なる素材替えではなく、帽子としての完成度を前提にした再設計。

The mountain hat — HICOSAKA's defining form — taken as the starting point, and rebuilt through the lens of material. The silhouette, refined over years as a permanent fixture, remains untouched. What changes is the surface: Ultrasuede® brought in to draw out an expression the form has never shown before.
What Ultrasuede® brings is a confident structure, the layered depth of colour characteristic of suede, and a surface so smooth it seems to invite touch. A texture that can hold the centre of a look as its focal point, or quietly compose the whole without demanding attention. Nothing overstated. Quality that communicates on its own terms.
The mountain hat carries casual associations. Ultrasuede® carries richness. To reconcile what might seem like opposing forces, the parameters have been revisited — crown height, brim angle, volume distribution — each adjusted with precision. This is not a material substitution. It is a redesign, undertaken with the completed hat as the premise.
