HICOSAKAオリジナルの8パネルキャップは、現在では簡易化された6枚ハギが主流の中、あえてクラシックな8枚構成を採用。これにより、頭に自然に馴染む立体的なフォルムと、奥行きある美しいシルエットを実現しています。

素材には「16/12チノ」を使用。縦糸に16番手、横糸に12番手という異なる太さの糸を組み合わせることで、縦糸は繊細で上品な表情を、横糸はしっかりとしたコシと強度を生み出します。その結果、軽やかさと耐久性を両立し、使い込むほどに柔らかく馴染む独自の風合いを楽しめます。

フロントにはワンポイントで龍の刺繍を配置。日本の龍は古来より、五穀豊穣をもたらし、金運や仕事運を高め、邪気を祓うと信じられてきました。西洋の破壊的なドラゴンとは異なり、賢く穏やかな存在として親しまれてきた龍の姿を、静かに日常に取り入れることができます。

While simplified 6-panel caps dominate the mainstream today, HICOSAKA remains true to the classic 8-panel construction. This deliberate choice creates a naturally contoured, three-dimensional form and a silhouette with depth and beauty.

Crafted from 16/12 chino fabric, woven with warp yarns of 16 count and weft yarns of 12 count, the fabric combines two contrasting qualities. The finer warp yarns produce a refined and elegant surface, while the thicker weft yarns provide firmness and durability. The result is a unique texture that balances lightness and strength, gradually softening and conforming to the wearer over time.

A dragon embroidery is placed discreetly on the front. In Japanese tradition, dragons symbolize prosperity and good fortune, believed to enhance wealth and career success while warding off evil and misfortune.
