このビーニーは、単なるニットキャップではない。前ブランド時代に、創業デザイナーが構造から考案し、そのブランドが飛躍するきっかけとなった3Dビーニー。その思想と記憶を起点に、HICOSAKAにおいてあらためて再構築したプロダクト。

核となるのは、引き返し編みによる立体構造。編み地の途中で進行方向を変え、段差とふくらみを生むこの技法を、表地に3箇所配置することで、従来モデル以上のボリュームと奥行きを生み出している。平面的になりがちなビーニーに、明確な陰影と構築性を与える設計。

今回は、裏地のボリュームも意図的にアップ。内部から形を支えることで、被った際の安定感が増し、長時間の着用でもフォルムが崩れにくい。サイズ感も現代のスタイリングに合わせてやや大きく調整し、余白を楽しめるバランスに仕上げている。

表地のボリュームが増したことで、被り方の自由度も拡張。自然に後ろへ倒すだけでなく、あえてサイドに持ってくることで、ターバンのようなニュアンスも生まれる。被る人の感覚によって完成形が変わる点も、このアイテムの重要な要素。

流行や装飾ではなく、構造と思考が先にある。

This is not simply a knit cap.
The 3D beanie was first conceived by HICOSAKA's founding designer during a previous brand — a structural idea that became the catalyst for that brand's rise. That philosophy and that memory now serve as the foundation for a fully rebuilt version, reimagined under HICOSAKA.
At its core is a three-dimensional structure achieved through short-row knitting.
By reversing the direction of the knit mid-row, the technique introduces graduated steps and volume into the fabric itself. Placed at three points across the outer shell — more than in the original model — it produces depth and dimension that a conventional beanie simply cannot achieve. Shadow, structure, and sculptural presence, built directly into the knit.
The interior volume has also been deliberately increased.
Supporting the form from within, it brings greater stability when worn and helps the silhouette hold its shape through extended wear. The sizing has been adjusted slightly larger to suit contemporary styling — leaving room to play, room to breathe.
The added volume of the outer shell opens up new ways of wearing.
Let it fall naturally toward the back. Pull it to one side for a turban-like quality. The way it is worn changes what it becomes — and that mutability is fundamental to what this piece is.
